Kate is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist with over 15 years experience of consulting in organisations across varied sectors locally and internationally.  She develops managers at a group and individual level through the application of psychology.  Advising on culture, leadership, selection, assessment and development, Kate is a talented psychologist, trainer, coach and facilitator, working in partnership with her clients to help people achieve their potential at work.


Kate has assessed, coached and developed many leaders, senior managers and teams in the public and private sectors.  Kate is described as being quick to connect with people and their business issues, gentle yet direct, and someone who creates a supportive environment that encourages self-awareness and action. She combines high quality tools and fresh approaches in order to examine, understand and utilise the psychological and behavioural factors facing individuals and groups in their work. 


Kate completed her Masters degree in Occupational Psychology at Birkbeck College, University of London.  Starting her career at Ashridge Management College, she has been employed by two leading occupational psychology consultancies. 


Highly experienced in assessment best-practice, she has the British Psychological Society’s Levels A & B certificates in testing and regularly leads programmes qualifying managers and HR professionals in the use of leading personality instruments such as the MBTI, FIRO-B, 16pf5, & CPI.  She is regarded as an expert in the application of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.  In addition she is qualified to use Hogan, Neo, Facet 5 & Saville Wave instruments and 360 tools Benchmarks and Profiler.  She is a certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming Master Practitioner.

  • Senior leadership team strategy and effectiveness sessions for several organisations including BSkyB and Newmont Ghana Gold Ltd
  • Design and delivery of high potential assessment centres for a leading building society in the UK.
  • Design and delivery of a programme introducing managed change and “change agent” skills for managers in a government funded agency
  • Psychological input and delivery of one-to-one coaching for a General Manager’s leadership development programme held in Boston, USA for an international cosmetics brand
  • Development and delivery of a 6-month modular leadership programme on behalf of a financial services organisation for a Middle Manager to Director level population.
  • Provider of management development expertise and executive coaching for UK government departments including the Department for Work and Pensions, the Child Support Agency, The Statistics Commission, the former Department for Education and Skills, The Department of Health and the Healthcare Commission
