Our People - Support Team
The support team are full-time office based staff and shareholders who are involved in the development of the business and share company values. They support the needs of all consultants and are often the first point of contact for clients.
Jane Beattie - Secretary
Since April 2006 I have held the role of secretary, and PA to the full-time consultants. I work in the front office with our office manager Anne, and I am the first point of contact for visitors and callers. My previous roles were training administrator in the construction industry and project administrator in the voluntary arts sector. Prior to that I held various positions in administration, reception, switchboard and customer service. Out of hours I help run a weekly community film club for young people based in the South Side of Glasgow.
Margaret Finnie - Business Development Manager
I joined the team at Taylor Clarke in January 2005. Before then I was the International Trade Executive at Glasgow Chamber of Commerce. I am responsible for all client relationship issues, sales, project management of tenders and PR.
In my spare time I help my husband in our family business selling antiques, fireplaces and contemporary Scottish Art.
Janice Gould - Finance Director
I joined Taylor Clarke in August 1990 as a part-time book keeper, and became a Director of the company in 2000. I take care of all financial aspects of the business. In April 2004 I moved to beautiful Cornwall with my husband, where I work from home with the help of my two cats and dog. Once a month I travel to our Head Office in Glasgow to participate in our business development meetings and catch up with the rest of the team.
Anne Houston - Office Manager
I have been part of Taylor Clarke for over 16 years. I originally joined as an Office Junior Trainee under the then Government’s Youth Training Scheme. Over the years, I’ve held various positions from Administrator to my current position of Office Manager and PA to Managing Director, Laurence Clarke. In early 2010, I became a Director of the company.
Irene Neilson - Accounts Assistant
I joined the team in December 2007 as Admin Assistant. I've recently been promoted to the position of Finance Assistant. The best part of my job is getting the opportunity to visit our Finance Director in Cornwall from time to time.
At the moment I'm taking time out of my Italian studies to focus my attention on regularly visiting the cinema.
Jennifer Croall - Secretary
I joined Taylor Clarke in October 2008.
I work alongside Anne and Jane in Admin and I am a Secretary/ PA to Wendy our Principal Consultant. I also get involved in the creative and designing aspect of the company. My previous role was in the Construction Industry.
In 2008 I bought a flat in Glasgow’s West End and in my spare time I enjoy keeping fit by dancing and aim to sit my BATD exam soon.
Aileen Jess - Project Management and Research Assistant
I joined Taylor Clarke in August 2008 and work closely with our consultants. After graduating from the University of Glasgow in 2006 with an MA (Joint Hons) Psychology / Business and Management I moved to Nottingham to complete an MSc in Occupational Psychology. Since then I have worked in HR and recently moved to the West End of Glasgow to start work with Taylor Clarke.
I am currently working towards Chartered status in Occupational Psychology.
Fiona Morrison - Marketing Manager
Joining the team at Taylor Clarke in April 2010, I bring over 10 years experience in marketing and communications in the private and not-for-profit sectors, with organisations including Macfarlane Group and Shell. My experience spans industries including Packaging, Oil & Gas, and Construction; along with some time in the Arts and Charities sectors.
In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, travelling, yoga, the Arts and walking my ex-racing rescue greyhound.
