Our History

We have been releasing the potential in people since 1980.

Having started life as a clinical psychology practice, the name The Taylor Clarke Partnership emerged in 1988 as we changed our focus to Organisational Development.

Although the founders have moved on, we still maintain a psychological approach to our interventions. This is now balanced by years of experience in leadership, team development and change management.

Through the 1990's Taylor Clarke assisted many multi-nationals with management and senior team development in the electronics, oil, and financial services sectors. Our interventions with lawyers, accountants and engineering firms increased our expertise in helping partnerships work effectively.

Towards the end of the 90's, Taylor Clarke built a strong reputation in the drinks industry, particularly whisky, which still continues today. At the same time we helped Railtrack (latterly Network Rail) and their industry suppliers.

Massive growth in our public sector business has been achieved since 2000 by winning major contracts with DWP, The Foreign and Commonwealth Office and The Scottish Executive. This latter contract has built Taylor Clarke into one of the leading Leadership Development Consultancies in Social Services.

We have returned to our interest in financial services and power sectors. Through our oil industry contracts in particular, we have worked in the USA, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Nigeria, Indonesia, Holland, Ghana, Canada, Poland and Norway.

We maintain a flexible approach to consultant involvement with Taylor Clarke through a range of full-time, part-time, contract and independent associates. This ensures we have the most effective mix of the highest calibre consultants. Most importantly we insist that our values are shared by all of the consultants in our network.
